BayWa r.e. fusing solar power and agriculture in five countries with €6.5M of EU funding

Global renewable energy developer, BayWa r.e., has secured 6.5 million euros in funding from the EU’s LIFE Programme, which will be used to develop six projects across five countries by 2027, combining agriculture with solar power generation.

Risen Energy's "Rectangular" Topcon Modules In Mass Production and Delivery

In August, Risen Energy announced the start of mass production of TOPCon modules, which are based on rectangular silicon wafers with dimensions of 182.2 x 191.6 mm. Deliveries will begin at the end of the month to Southeast Asia, Europe, and other markets.

Octopus Energy supports over 100 solar projects in Europe

Veolia Operates First Solar Car Park to Deliver Renewable Energy for UK Hospital 

Veolia, working with 3ti solar car park specialists, have started renewable electricity generation at Eastbourne District General Hospital. By installing a new Solar Car Park the hospital is the first in the UK to take this step which will produce 1,000 MWh of solar-generated electricity annually, and lower CO2 emissions by 222 tons in the first year. 

Enel Agrees to Sell Geothermal and Solar Portfolio in US to Ormat

Enel S.p.A., acting through its fully-owned subsidiary Enel Green Power North America Inc. , has signed an agreement with Ormat Technologies Inc., for the sale of a renewable asset portfolio in the US for a total consideration of $271 million, subject to adjustments customary for these kinds of transactions. The portfolio consists of approximately 150 MW of operational geothermal and solar facilities.

Plus Power Raises Additional $1.8B to Help Incorporate Renewables and Stabilize Power Grid

Plus Power LLC announced completion of  $1.8 billion  in new financing for standalone battery storage, including the largest single such project financing to date, to help stabilize the US electrical grid while incorporating more solar and wind energy.
