Vestas Secures 1,089 MW Order with Pattern Energy in the US

Vestas has secured a firm order from Pattern Energy to power a major portion of its SunZia Wind project in New Mexico. It is Vestas’ largest order to date in the U.S. market and the largest single onshore project globally. Consisting of 242 V163-4.5 MW turbines, the 1.1 GW order is also the largest order globally for Vestas’ newest high-capacity factor turbine.

Suzlon Secures 300 MW Order From Apraava Energy Private Limited

Suzlon Group has scored a new order win for the development of a 300 MW wind power project for Apraava Energy Private Limited. Suzlon will install 100 wind turbine generators (WTGs) with a Hybrid Lattice Tubular (HLT) tower and a rated capacity of 3 MW each at the client's site in the state of Karnataka.

PGE and Ørsted Sign Contract for Installing Wind Turbine Generators for Baltica 2

PGE Group and Ørsted have a contracted Fred.Olsen Windcarrier for installation of 48 from 107 wind turbines for the Baltica 2 project – one of two stages of the Baltica Offshore Wind Farm. Installation of wind turbines for Baltica 2 has been divided into two stages, and a contractor for each stage is selected in separate tender procedure. 

Emeren Group Reaches 1GW of Battery Energy Storage Portfolio in Italy

Emeren Group Ltd. announced the sale of two Battery Energy Storage Systems in Italy to Matrix Renewables. Within just six months, Emeren has achieved a significant milestone, delivering around 1 GW in development, approaching its 1.5 GW BESS portfolio target. This achievement represents the execution capability within the frame of the partnership with Matrix.
