Obama sends $3.7 trillion, renewable energy-friendly budget to US Congress

President Barack Obama sent a St. Valentine’s Day gift to proponents of renewable energy on Monday by sending a $3.7 trillion budget for fiscal 2012 to the US Congress that pours billions of dollars into renewable energy and other investments while nevertheless managing to slash a whopping $1.1 trillion from a record US budget deficit.
