Aemetis and Delta Sign Deal for 250 Million Gallons of SAF

Aemetis, Inc., a renewable fuels company focused on negative carbon intensity products, announced today that an offtake agreement has been signed with Delta Air Lines for 250 million gallons of blended fuel containing sustainable aviation fuel (“SAF”) to be delivered over the 10 year term of the agreement. The aggregate value of the agreement is estimated to be more than $1 billion, including LCFS, RFS, 45Q and tax credits.

Aeroflot and Gazprom Neft to Work on Production of SAF

Aeroflot and Gazprom Neft signed an agreement to jointly develop the production and use of sustainable aviation fuel (SAF). The agreement is the first of its kind in Russia between an airline and an aviation fuel producer. Aeroflot and Gazprom Neft will collaborate on the production and use of SAF in the Russian market. The airline plans to use SAF on both domestic and international routes, helping to reduce the carbon footprint of air travel.

New Biogas Upgrading Facility in London Using Wastewater

DMT Environmental Technology (DMT), a global renewable gas leader, announces they will be the biogas upgrading technology provider for the first collaboration between Thames Water and SGN Commercial Services. As one of the two contractors selected, SGN Commercial Services was awarded an eight-year framework, valued at £70 million, by Thames Water. Furthermore, SGN Commercial Services will design, construct, operate and maintain biogas processing installations at Thames Waster’s wastewater treatment facilities.
