Tesla and Southern California Edison have unveiled what they are calling the largest lithium-ion battery storage project in the world in Ontario, California. Tesla claims the new Powerpack installation at the SCE Mira Loma substation will reduce the Los Angeles Basin’s reliance on natural gas peaker plants.
