NJR Clean Energy Ventures Begins Construction On Largest Floating Solar Array In  U.S.

NJR Clean Energy Ventures, the renewable energy subsidiary of New Jersey Resources has begun construction on an 8.9 megawatt (MW) floating solar installation in Millburn, New Jersey. Once complete, it will be the largest floating solar array in the United States. 

Scout Clean Energy Orders 378 MW of First Solar Modules

 First Solar, Inc. has signed an agreement with Scout Clean Energy to supply 378 megawatts (MW)DC of advanced thin film photovoltaic (PV) solar modules. The deal was booked prior to the release of First Solar’s Q1 2022 earnings in April.

AES Announces Deals to Provide 450 MW of Renewable Energy to Amazon

The AES Corporation has entered into two renewable energy Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs) with Amazon. As part of the agreements, AES will deliver renewable energy in the CAISO (California Independent System Operator) market and source it from a combined 450 MW of solar and 225 MW, 4-hour duration battery energy storage from its portfolio of projects*. AES has contracted with Fluence to supply energy storage solutions for one of the projects.

Saft Energy Storage System will Smooth Grid Integration for Côte d'Ivoire’s First Solar Plant

Saft, a subsidiary of TotalEnergies, has won a major contract from Eiffage Energie Systèmes to deliver a 10 MW energy storage system that will ensure smooth grid integration for the Boundiali PV power plant. The 37.5 MWp (megawatt-peak) plant, owned and operated by CI-Energies, will be the first large-scale solar project in Côte d'Ivoire.
