Swiss firm ABB, in conjunction with Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA), recently announced completion of a major substation that will help evacuate power from the Mohamed Bin RashidAl Maktoum (MBR) Solar Park, a key element of the vision to generate 75% of Dubai’s power from clean energy sources by 2050.
