Ørsted Completes Muscle Shoals Solar Project in Alabama

Ørsted continues to expand its solar footprint across the US and has completed the 227 MWAC Muscle Shoals solar PV project in Colbert County, Alabama. Located in the Tennessee Valley Authority ('TVA') service area, the project has a long-term PPA with TVA. This new project will support the sustainability goals of Facebook's data center in Huntsville, Alabama that just started operations.

Ingeteam Inc., a manufacturer of solar inverters based in Milwaukee (Wisconsin), has supplied 350 MW of solar inverters for two photovoltaic projects in California that are being built by Swinerton Renewable Energy. CIM Group’s Aquamarine Westside solar photovoltaic plant is located in Kings County and has a nominal rated power of 250 MW. The High Desert solar PV plant (100 MW) is located in San Bernardino County.

Energy Vault to List on the NYSE Through Merger with Novus Capital

Novus Capital Corporation a U.S. publicly-traded special purpose acquisition company, and Energy Vault, Inc., the company creating gravity-based, grid-scale energy storage solutions with its proprietary technology, announced that they have entered into a definitive agreement for a business combination. Upon closing of the transaction, the combined company will be named Energy Vault Holdings, Inc. and is expected to be listed on the NYSE under the ticker symbols “GWHR” and “GWHR WS,” respectively. The combined company will be led by Robert Piconi as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer.
