Vineyard Wind Selected to Deliver 804 MW Offshore Wind Power to Connecticut Electricity Customers  

Connecticut Department of Energy and Environmental Protection (DEEP) has selected developer Vineyard Wind to advance to contract negotiations with the state’s electric distribution companies to provide 804 MW of offshore wind through the development of the Park City Wind Project.

More Contracts Awarded for Neart na Gaoithe Offshore Wind Farm

DEME Offshore has been awarded a major EPCI contract for the inter-array and interconnector cables at the Neart na Gaoithe offshore wind farm in Scotland, including engineering, procurement, construction, and installation of the subsea cables for the 450 MW capacity wind farm, with execution in 2021, and, Fred. Olsen Windcarrier has been awarded the contract for the transport and installation of the 54 SG 8.0-167 DD wind turbines.
