Saint-Gobain Announces Largest Renewable Energy Deal In Company

Saint-Gobain North America, one of the world’s largest building materials companies and manufacturer of innovative material solutions, today announced it has entered into a 12-year virtual Power Purchase Agreement  to help offset its U.S. CO2 emissions while supporting the construction of Blooming Grove Wind Farm in McLean County, Illinois.

Evergy to Add 660 MW of Wind Energy to Portfolio

Evergy, Inc., headquarterd in Topeka, Kansas, and Kansas City, Missouri, along with Kansas Gov. Laura Kelly, has announced it will expand its wind energy portfolio by 660 MW, and reduce carbon output by 80 percent below 2005 levels by 2050. Electricity from four new wind energy sites will be used to attract and retain large commercial and industrial customers.
