Vestas secures 126 MW EnVentus order in Ukraine

Wind turbine manufacturer Vestas has announced it has signed the first EnVentus order in the Eastern Europe region for the 126 MW DTEK Tiligulska project in Ukraine, which is being developed by DTEK Renewables, for whom Vestas has also delivered three projects previously in Ukraine.

Apex Sells Jayhawk Wind to WEC Energy Group And Invenergy

Apex Clean Energy has announced that WEC Energy Group and Invenergy purchased the Jayhawk Wind project, including a renewable power purchase agreement with Facebook. The more than 190 MW project, located in Crawford and Bourbon Counties, Kansas, will help support the tech company’s operations in the region.

Triton Knoll Offshore Wind Farm Generates First Power

The Triton Knoll Offshore Wind Farm has successfully generated renewable electricity for the first time. First generation follows the installation of the first of the project’s 90 wind turbines in January 2021 and the successful energization of the project’s transmission system including the offshore substation platforms, offshore export cable, onshore cables and onshore substation.
