US wind installations increase 91% year on year but uncertain regulatory environment stalls turbine orders

The US wind market in Q1 exceeded 2024’s pace, more than doubling activity with 2.1 GW of installations, but regulatory uncertainty led to a significant retreat in wind turbine orders, according to the US Wind Energy Monitor report released by Wood Mackenzie and the American Clean Power Association (ACP).
