US Reps. Garamendi and Maloy Introduce the Bipartisan Geothermal Tax Parity Act 

Representatives John Garamendi, Democrat representing California's 8th Congressional District, and Celeste Maloy, Republican representing Utah's 2nd Congressional District, have introduced the bipartisan Geothermal Tax Parity Act of 2025, to promote geothermal projects, one of America’s cheapest and most reliable energy sources, by extending long-standing oil and gas tax provisions to geothermal projects.
