West Biofuels celebrated the official ribbon cutting for Hat Creek Bioenergy, a biomass-to-energy facility which the company constructed and is operating. This flagship facility represents years of collaboration with local, regional and statewide partners and converts forest biomass into renewable power, supporting forest stewardship and providing clean energy directly to the local electrical grid.

EnviTec Biogas Builds First Biogas Plant in the Philippines

EnviTec Biogas is making its mark in the Philippines with the signing of a contract with First Quezon Biogas Corporation (FQBC). The 1.4 MW biogas plant belongs to an agricultural cooperative of 14 poultry farmers in Candelaria, Quezon Province. It is scheduled to begin feeding electricity into the local grid of Meralco, the largest electricity provider in the Southeast Asian archipelago, in June 2026.
