The cooperation bridges the gap between hydrogen production and offtake, offering a holistic solution to accelerate the delivery of hydrogen to mobility and industrial users across Europe.

“We’re excited to join forces with Ryze Power” said Nima Pegemanyfar, Executive Vice President Customer Operations at Quest One. “This collaboration is all about removing barriers that are hindering hydrogen projects and thereby advancing green hydrogen solutions in Europe. By combining our portfolio and technological expertise with Ryze Power’s distribution network, we’re enabling real-world hydrogen supply solutions that help industrial users.”

The partnership will begin at Quest One’s Gigahub, the production site for PEM electrolyser stacks in Hamburg. A tube trailer station has been installed at the site and will be operated by Ryze Power. Hydrogen, which is produced during R&D and the end-of-line testing of electrolyser stacks, will be made available to the market. By joining forces at the Hamburg site, both companies create a platform to expand toward larger customer programs and multi-site projects.

“Each and every day, our tube trailers are delivering hydrogen to our customers across Germany and the rest of Europe” added Leander Hoffmann, Managing Director at Ryze Power Germany. “This is not a concept, or a trial, but a reality for businesses across the country who cannot electrify their operations and want to decarbonise with renewable fuels. The Hamburg tube trailer filling station is yet another demonstration of what is technically possible, thanks to our crew of highly skilled engineers who are helping our customers solve the problems of infrastructure and supply. Together with Quest One, we intend to bring these capabilities to new projects and new markets.”
