Siemens Energy has been awarded a contract by Technology Resources Energy (TRE) to equip two onshore wind farms in Vietnam with Sensproducts, digitally enhanced transmission equipment.

Wind turbine manufacturer Vestas has secured a 50 MW order with local EPC construction company, Bac Phuong JSC for the second phase of the Dong Hai 1 intertidal wind project.

Vestas has secured its largest order in Vietnam to date for a total of 144 MW for the three wind parks Lien Lap, Phong Huy, and Phong Nguyen in the Quảng Trị Province.

Vestas has secured another order in Vietnam for two projects totalling 64 MW located in complex mountainous terrain in Quang Tri province.
