The company serves more than 28 million customers every month and from 1st April it has been powering its operations using energy sourced from renewable sources. This includes nationally-known brands such as Costa Coffee and Premier Inn, where renewable energy is used to power 2,200 Costa Coffee stores and 68,000 Premier Inn rooms.

Whitbread PLC also owns restaurant brands, Beefeater, Brewers Fayre and Table Table and is ranked No 8 in the Sunday Times Best Big Companies to Work For list.
