The Department of Territory and Environment of the Region of Sicily concluded the procedure with the adoption of D.A. no. 45/GAB of 19/02/2026 with a favourable environmental compatibility assessment (art. 25 Legislative Decree 152/2006), a favourable environmental impact assessment (VIncA) (Art. 5 Presidential Decree 357/1997) and a favourable opinion on the compliance of the preliminary plan for the use of excavated earth and rocks (Presidential Decree 120/2017, Art. 24 c. 3), subject to compliance with environmental mitigation requirements.

The progress of ‘Ramata’ will help to consolidate GreenGo’s strategy and demonstrate it’s ability to develop solid projects within rapid timeframes, capable of withstanding environmental scrutiny and integrating, already at the authorisation stage, technical requirements, mitigations and operating conditions consistent with the territory. GreenGo's success rate for BESS and renewable developments is 95 percent on a proprietary greenfield pipeline of 1,360 MW.

“This result strengthens GreenGo's industrial trajectory at a strategic moment: with our first construction sites now at an advanced stage, with 22 MW coming online at the end of June, part of the total 33 MW under construction” said Alberto Piva, Business Development and M&A Director at GreenGo. “During the year, we expect 328 MWp of new ready-to-build (RTB) projects, in line with our growth strategy as an IPP, where speed of execution, budget control and efficiency in capital deployment are the new frontiers for IPPs in an increasingly selective market expected with the entry into force of the Bollette Decree.”
