As part of its nationwide roll-out, the Group is expanding into key locations across the UK to support both long-distance EV travel and local communities, offering ultra-rapid charging at a rate of 55p/kWh, which is significantly lower than the UK average of 76p/kWh.
Payments can be made easily through the Arnold Clark app, roaming partners or via contactless at all charging hubs.
Arnold Clark Charge was recognised in the Zapmap 2025 Awards, receiving the title of ‘Up-and-Coming Rapid/Ultra-rapid EV Charging Network’. In Zapmap’s annual survey of 4,000 UK EV drivers, the network earned high ratings across all five key metrics, including the highest score of any network for customer support. Zapmap also praised its competitive pricing, reliability and ease of use.
“With Arnold Clark Charge, our aim is to give drivers quick, reliable and affordable charging wherever they travel” said Pablo Levi, Group Sustainability Manager at Arnold Clark. “Becoming Scotland’s largest ultra-rapid network in such a short time is a milestone we’re incredibly proud of – and we’re only just getting started. We’ll continue expanding into key locations and listening to customer feedback to deliver the best possible charging experience.”
