Stargate Hydrogen is aiming to become a regular partner for industrial-scale hydrogen projects, while Fortum is aiming to deploy hydrogen as part of its wider energy and decarbonisation programme.

As a long-term goal, Stargate Hydrogen is seeking to contribute to Finland's development as a European hydrogen hub. Within this, each operational project strengthens local expertise, supply chains, and confidence in hydrogen technologies as part of the future energy system.
Following on from this, further testing and operational activities will be conducted in line with the agreed project plan.
