Under the agreement, Trinasolar will supply 74MW of its Vertex N G3 dual-glass n-type modules (NEG19RC.20Q) across the five projects. Deliveries are scheduled to take place during Q4 2026.
Based on Trinasolar’s third-generation n-type i-TOPCon Ultra cell technology, the platform introduces a quarter-cut cell design, evolving from the half-cut architecture of previous module generations. By reducing current flow and electrical resistance within the module, the quarter-cut design helps minimise power losses and improve thermal performance, contributing to module efficiencies of up to 24.8 percent.
The modules also offer 85 percent bifaciality and are designed to deliver strong performance across a broad range of operating conditions, including low-irradiance and high-temperature environments. An optimised temperature coefficient of -0.26 percent/°C supports energy generation as module temperatures rise and can deliver up to 1.55 percent more power than mainstream modules at peak operating temperatures.

Long-term performance and reliability are also central to the Vertex N G3 value proposition. The modules feature an ultra-low annual degradation rate of 0.35 percent and are backed by a 30-year power warranty, supporting predictable energy yields over the lifetime of the solar assets.
The five projects will contribute to the continued expansion of utility-scale solar generation in Germany. The collaboration brings together MaxSolar’s project development and infrastructure expertise with Trinasolar’s latest-generation module technology to support the delivery of high-performing, reliable and cost-competitive solar assets.
Trina Solar modules are being deployed across a growing portfolio of at least five PV projects in Germany, with a particular focus on southern regions. The projects are at different stages of development and implementation, with module allocations being adjusted as planning progresses.
