The two Nordex N149 wind turbines have a combined capacity of 11.4 MW and are now generating clean energy for approximately 12,000 households. This marks VSB Group’s first operational wind energy project in the state of Schleswig-Holstein.
“Schleswig-Holstein remains one of the top three German federal states for wind energy expansion in 2025” said Thomas Winkler, Managing Director of VSB Germany. “We’re proud to be part of this progress with the commissioning of the Flintbek Wind Farm and to actively contribute to the energy transition in Northern Germany.”
VSB, headquartered in Dresden, is one of Europe’s leading vertically integrated developers in the field of renewable energy. The company has been part of TotalEnergies since 2025, with its core business being the project development of onshore wind and solar PV parks and battery storage solutions.
“Germany is one of the most dynamic growth markets for renewable energy in Europe” added Dr. Felix Grolman, CEO of the VSB Group. “The Flintbek Wind Farm represents another key milestone in the VSB Group's overall growth strategy and our mission to create a sustainable and climate-friendly energy supply.”
