Ms White will offer insights into the Government’s current thinking and the future direction of the green gas sector as part of her keynote address.
The event is sponsored by Cadent Gas and AB Energy and comes at a pivotal moment for green gas, with the Green Gas Support Scheme (GGSS) budget now fully allocated and the Future Support Framework taking on increasing importance for the sector.
Industry experts will explore key issues and emerging opportunities, including e-methane and synthetic gas pathways, digestate management as the biomethane sector expands, non-GGSS markets for biomethane, corporate off-takers, developments in the Irish market and progress on connections to the transmission network.

UK Green Gas Day 2026 is the UK’s foremost policy and market forum for the biomethane and the wider green gas sector. As the sector enters a pivotal year marked by significant regulatory and strategic developments, the event provides an essential platform for Government, industry and financial stakeholders to assess the policy landscape and its implications for long term deployment, investment and system integration.
