Skytron Energy focuses on utility-scale PV power plants with a capacity of over 5 MW. Operators and investors in this sector keep a close eye on the profitability of their assets, which means that fast, comprehensive service is a must. Survey Digital’s personnel has an extensive and proven experience in advanced power electronics, as well as advanced troubleshooting skills for utility scale photovoltaic systems, and is comprised of highly qualified and experienced in-house engineers. For that reason, Survey Digital was selected to act as a commercial and technical service partner of skytron energy in the EMEA and APAC regions.
“Through this strategic partnership we are strengthening our presence in the EMEA region” said Olaf Donner, the managing director of skytron energy.
Skytron Energy systems are designed to prevent any data loss during transmission and are even impervious to power outages. The company’s data loggers are equipped with their own uninterruptible power supply (UPS) and a local data back-up. A data server also stores large volumes of data locally before transferring them to the control centre.
Survey Digital is an international company with offices in Greece (Athens), Cyprus (Nicosia) and China (Hong Kong), serving efficiently the local PV markets in Europe, Africa and the Middle East. The company has a long history in solar energy and PV projects, active since 2006 in development, engineering, procurement, construction, project management, after sales technical support of inverters and SCADA systems, as well as O&M for utility scale solar installations.
In addition, Survey Digital is already selected by several major PV component manufacturers (AlsoEnergy-USA, SMA-Germany, Sungrow-China, Satcon/Greatwall-China, PowerOne-USA, ABB-Greece, Fronius-Austria, Bonfiglioli-Italy, Santerno-Italy) to act either as a local service provider for hotline, preventive and corrective maintenance services and procurement of systems and spare parts in the EMEA region, or as a certified provider for specialized maintenance.
