Sweden orders from fellow Scandinavian Vestas

The turbines from Vestas will be the V90 2.0 MW and the V90 1.8 MW turbines. There will be 45 of the 2 MW unites and 3 of the 1.8 MW , which will be supplied , installed, commissioned with a five year service contract. The order was made by RES Skandinavien AB, a wholly owned subsidiary of Renewable Energy Systems Limited (RES).

This project is the largest onshore project in Sweden and therefore critical for the development of wind power in Sweden. It is located in the Jaemtland region and will be installed in 2009 during the summer, with comissioning taking place by the end of 2009 / beginning of 2010.
