Free tickets to CEP Clean Energy and PassiveHouse

The CEP in Stuttgart has established itself as the leading trade fair for renewable energies and passive houses in Europe. In partnership with REECO GMBH, Renewable Energy Magazine is pleased to offer free tickets to CEP 2011 to be held in February.

Over 10,000 visitors from around the world came to exchange information on renewable energies and passive houses at the CEP Clean Energy and PassiveHouse 2010, Baden-Wuerttemberg's state energy trade fair which took place from 25-27 February. The range of products, technologies and services that were presented impressed trade visitors and end customers alike.

Unique combination

With its unique combination of renewable energies and passive houses, the CEP has grown into a renown industry meeting point with international impact. The passive house section of the trade fair continues to grow and remains the cornerstone of the CEP exhibition. No other platform offers such a comprehensive overview of the leading industry standards of building and renovation through exhibitions, conferences and trade forums.

Due to its consistent success, the CEP 2011 will continue its path of growth and will again attract respected exhibitors such as AEREX HaustechnikSysteme GmbH, Finnforest Merk GmbH, ISOQUICK GmbH & Co. KG, UNILUX AG, VARIOTEC Sandwichelemente GmbH & Co. KG and Wiegand-Fensterbau.

For the first time, the trade fair will feature an entire exhibition hall dedicated to the topic of bioenergy. Wood energy and forestry technology, in particular, as well as cogeneration and biogas will be the main topics of this section of the trade fair.

Market leaders from all product fields in the bioenergy sector will be on site to present their companies, including August Storm GmbH & Co. KG, ETA Heiztechnik GmbH, Fröling Heizkessel- und Behälterbau GmbH, GUNTAMATIC Heiztechnik GmbH, Hargassner GmbH, Heizomat GmbH, ÖkoFEN Heiztechnik, SHT Heiztechnik aus Salzburg GmbH and Viessmann Deutschland GmbH.

The Special Exhibition on Mobility was a fantastic interactive highlight in 2010, and it will be expanded in 2011. Along with the presentation of the vehicles themselves, the entire scope of electric vehicles will be covered from power production with renewable energies all the way to the infrastructure and integration into the power grid. Photovoltaics, solar thermal energy and solar cooling are also central topics of the CEP.

The exhibition and a series of special presentations will present qualified visitors with a variety of practical applications of a range of products in the solar technology sector.

Along with the trade fair, several trade conferences will be taking place, including the “3rd International Symposium on Solar and Renewable Cooling” and the “5th International Conference on the Application of Biomass Gasification” which will both take place in German and English.

The symposium will present the newest technological developments in the area of solar thermal cooling and biomass cooling systems. The conference on biomass gasification will present a current national and international overview of the state of development of biogas gasification facilities for small and mid-range cogeneration. International interest in the CEP continues to grow. In 2010, 73% of international visitors from 17 countries were qualified visitors.

Significant growth in exhibitor numbers

The number of international exhibitors has about doubled in the last two years from 16 to 31 companies. International companies looking to expand into new markets and find new contacts see the popular Interntional Business Exchange Forum (IBEF) as a valuable communication platform for the renewable energies market. The Steinbeis Europa Zentrum will also organize a “Stop4Business” event on Thursday and Friday, offering guided tours of the trade fair, presentations and a business matching for sustainable construction.

The organizer REECO GmbH is part of the REECO Group with headquarters in Germany and subsidiaries in Salzburg, Austria, Brussels, Belgium, Porto, Portugal, Budapest, Hungary and Arad, Romania. Since 1997, about 50,000 experts from 70 countries have attended the trade fairs and conferences organized by REECO.

2011 will be the 12th year of the CEP International Trade Fair and Conference, which will take place from 10 to 12 February in the Messe Stuttgart (Germany).

The free tickets are available here and provide free entrance to the trade fair, automatic entry in a raffle, and subscription to the latest information through a regular newsletter.
