The decision to become a leading sponsor of the Association and take a seat on the board affirms DP Energy’s commitment to the ocean energy sector and places DP Energy firmly at the centre of the industry.

The move comes soon after the transfer of the Westray South project in Orkney, Scotland from SSE Renewables to DP Energy. The acquisition increases DP Energy’s overall portfolio of tidal energy projects to 330MW making the company the largest independent developer in Europe, with a number of other projects in the pipeline.
