The Indian solar market is one of the most promising markets in the world due to the tremendous demand for power, the current competitiveness of off-grid PV and the excellent levels of natural solar radiation that India enjoys.

Intersolar India is a subsidiary of the well-known Intersolar global conference network. It focuses primarily on PV and solar thermal and exhibitors this year will include PV cell, module and inverter manufacturers, components and mounting systems suppliers, manufacturing system suppliers, service companies as well as manufacturers of solar thermal applications including heating and cooling, among others.
As a result of its enormous growth, Intersolar India quickly became one of the largest solar events in the solar industry seeing an 84% increase in exhibitor numbers, a 64% increase in total visitor numbers and a 54% increase in floor space since its first event in 2010. The conference has been organised by MI India Pvt Ltd in association with Solar Promotion International Gmbh, Freiburg Management and Marketing and Intersolar. MI India Pvt Ltd is a fully owned subsidiary of Messe München International. Incorporated in September 2007, it organizes India’s largest show on electronic components, assemblies and production technologies - electronica India and productronica India.
