Combined, the wind energy projects are expected to generate enough electricity each year to power the equivalent of over 525,000 U.S. homes. The projects will propel Oracle toward 100% carbon-free electricity matching for its current AI data centers in Texas, support the state's rapidly growing AI economy, and contribute to reduced electricity emissions.

Supporting grid supply and sustainability
Oracle is investing in more than 1.7 GW of wind energy generation across ten projects with suppliers including Clearway Energy, ENGIE, RWE, and Scout Clean Energy. Based on expected annual generation and eGrid emissions factors, the renewable electricity generated by these projects represent an estimated avoided-emissions equivalent of 1.8 million metric tons of CO₂ each year compared to the ERCOT grid.
These projects demonstrate Oracle’s deep investment in Texas and align with Oracle’s goal of reaching 100% carbon-free electricity for Custom AI Data Centers by 2035. In partnership with local communities, Oracle continues to invest in scalable, next-generation energy solutions to support the rapid growth of AI and cloud services.
