The National Congress of Renewable Energies will be held in Madrid in the Auditorium of Mutua Madrileña, aiming to serve as a meeting point for the major actors in Spain’s national renewable energy sector, enabling them to share their vision of a renewable energy future. The congress programme will feature topics related to renewable energy and climate change, including the Spanish Integrated National Energy and Climate Plan (NECP), the energy transition, self consumption and its impact on the market, energy storage and management, hydrogen and its profitability, the role of the large consumers in the face of changing energy models, the future of the electricity market, financing instruments, and various other important topics.
CEO Antonio Delgado Rigal will represent AleaSoft at the event, participating in a round table entitled “The Future of the Pool”, which will take place on the second day of the event, Wednesday 4th December, at 3pm. Mr Rigal will be presenting his vision of the future of the electricity market and explaining the scientific methodology used by the Alea models to generate and deliver consistent forecasts of the energy sector. These models are driven by Artificial Intelligence and Statistics, enabling them to assess the market balance thus far and deliver an assessment of potential future patterns based on the incorporation of renewable energy technologies, the fundamental variables driving the market and the interconnection of different European energy markets.
