Participants expect to meet with nearly 60 Congressional offices to make the case for what they describe as a “commonsense, conservative clean energy policy grounded in free-market principles, energy security, and American innovation”.
With the national conversation shifting toward restoring American strength at home and abroad, CEN and CRES are positioning themselves to lead the debate around energy, from a mainstream conservative perspective focusing on respect for markets, empowering states, and putting American workers and manufacturers first.
This year’s fly-in highlights state-level leadership in areas like permitting reform, grid reliability, and the advancement of next-generation clean energy technologies including offshore wind, alongside nuclear. Participants will also share success stories from their home states where clean energy is boosting local economies, strengthening the grid, and creating jobs.
“This is a moment that calls for clear conservative leadership on energy” said John Szoka, CEO of CEN. “With demand rising and increasing global instability, America’s path forward must include an all-of-the-above strategy grounded in energy independence, free enterprise, and innovation. We’re proud to represent conservative voices who believe in proactive, results-driven policy.”
At a time when energy is increasingly tied to national security, economic competitiveness, and global leadership, CEN and CRES believe they are the right messengers at the right time and are delivering that message directly to Capitol Hill.
“The Trump Administration is leading the way to restore American energy dominance, and it's important that lawmakers know their constituents are supportive of his agenda” added CRES President Heather Reams. “In Congress, members of the House and Senate can, and should, embrace an all-of-the-above energy approach to truly capitalise on all the domestic resources available. We are proud to partner with CEN to bring local industry leaders to Washington to prove how these important policies are bolstering local economies across the country.”
States represented in this year’s fly-in include Arizona, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Indiana, Iowa, Louisiana, Michigan, Minnesota, Nebraska, Nevada, North Carolina, Ohio, South Carolina, Texas, Utah, Virginia, and Wisconsin.
