The new decrees strengthen GreenGo’s position in Puglia, a strategic area for GreenGo’s renewable energy development and one where it already has a strong presence with five wind projects totalling approximately 100 MW awaiting authorisation, and also consolidates the group’s presence in the Marche region, where the first photovoltaic plant, “Pianaccio” (5.3 MW), is coming on stream in the municipality of Mondavio (PU).
Progress with these new plants is in line with GreenGo’s business plan to accelerate the conversion of its pipeline into buildable and operational capacity.
For 2026, GreenGo has set the following targets:
To reach 328 MW of ready-to-build renewables,
To complete a further 250 MW of BESS already authorised by 2025,
Commission 33 MW by July.
Reach financial close for the construction of 280 MW: 150 MW already awarded under FER X and the new 130 MW contracted under the Energy Release 2.0 package.

The approval of the Energy Bills Decree yesterday in the Senate paradoxically strengthens GreenGo: our pipeline of over 1 GW is unaffected by the grid connection reform, having already received technical approval from Terna and, for the most part, being at an advanced stage of authorisation. What will change is our strategy for developing new initiatives in the North, adopting a much more selective approach to new sites and aiming for faster authorisation processes.”
