According to EET, SolMate 3 is the first and only storage device that can be plugged directly into a standard socket and operate immediately without complex installation or additional hardware. This is made possible by the patented SolBrain technology, enabling automatic, intelligent monitoring of power consumption and precise energy distribution based on demand.
The system, entirely developed in Europe, is aimed at meeting the highest standards for quality, efficiency, and data protection, while offering maximum adaptability for households across the continent. EET is also working together with the E:ON Group Innovation GmbH and enviaM to enable flexible electricity tariffs in combination with the storage system for households. This feature allows users to take advantage of lower electricity rates, thereby maximising the benefits of their balcony solar systems.
The storage unit is fully compatible with existing balcony power plants, but can also be utilised with new photovoltaic panels, which are also offered by EET in combination with the storage system. With a capacity of 2.5 kWh and advanced LiFePO4 storage technology, SolMate 3 provides ample energy to power essential household appliances, such as refrigerators, washing machines, Wi-Fi, or lighting, even during power outages.
“With SolMate 3, we want to make solar energy more accessible and user-friendly” said Mark Reijerkerk, CEO of EET. “For the first time, there is a balcony storage system that you can rely on 100 percent and that combines ease of use with long-term reliability. As EET, our prime focus lies on quality and safety. SolMate 3 was developed entirely in Austria and therefore naturally meets European safety standards. To underline the reliability of our storage system, we also offer an extended warranty of up to 15 years, which is higher than most other providers.”
The IP65 protection class means that the system is also optimally protected against environmental influences such as dust and splash water and can be operated in temperature ranges from -20 to +55 degrees Celsius.
