SMA Solar Technology: Expansion of network service and logistics areas

The Logistics area is also a key factor in the daily operations of SMA, and consequently the company is carrying out expansions in the warehouse located in St. Cugat del Vallès (Barcelona). These changes will improve the response capability, and will allow a more efficient and effective management of storage systems, spare parts management, the stock of equipment and shipment coordination. Furthermore, the implementation of a complete management system (ERP) is scheduled in the short term to enhance processes and increase the SMA access to the customers.

With an inverter installed capacity above 450 MW, SMA is constantly adapting its structure to the needs of its customers. One of the key factors to achieve this has been the loyalty to the highest quality standards set by the company. SMA plans to open new service stations in different Spanish locations, on top of the ones already existing in Alicante, Barcelona, Huelva, Madrid, Talavera and Granada.
