Ecoware, an Italian turnkey solar power system provided, also manufactures its own double-axis solar tracker. With SunPower panels, the Italian firm expects the performance of its tracking system to increase by up to 50%, in comparison with other panels, according to Mr Leopoldo Franceschini, President of Ecoware.
The great radiation in Southern Italy and the feed-in tariff (0.36 eur / kWp plus 0.08 eur / kWp for electricity purchase price) make investments in the country's solar industry very attractive, reason why Ecoware expects to be one of the biggest players in the market, and maybe also expand into other countries.
