Under the name “Future-Proof Power for Europe, Built Together”, the company will showcase its latest solar and storage solutions while reflecting on the partnerships and milestones that have shaped its European journey since 2006.
When Trinasolar entered the European market twenty years ago, solar energy was still emerging as a mainstream power source. Since then, Europe has become a global leader in renewable energy deployment, driven by technological innovation, ambitious climate targets and increasing demand for energy security.
Throughout this transformation, Trinasolar has grown alongside the industry, evolving from a solar module manufacturer into a provider of integrated solar and energy storage solutions. The company currently operates in more than 20 European countries through local teams, regional offices and long-standing partnerships across the renewable energy value chain.
“Our 20th anniversary is ultimately a celebration of the people and partnerships that have shaped Trinasolar's journey in Europe” said Gonzalo de la Viña, President of Trinasolar Europe and Latin America & Caribbean. “The renewable energy industry has evolved tremendously over the past two decades, and we are proud to have grown alongside our customers and partners during that transformation.”
A central theme of Trinasolar's anniversary celebration is the importance of collaboration. Over the last twenty years, the company has worked closely with distributors, installers, EPCs, developers, utilities and investors to support the deployment of renewable energy projects across Europe and other regions globally.
Trinasolar's European footprint includes 10 regional offices, more than 250 employees and a network of over 170 distribution partners. The company also operates the TrinaTracker manufacturing and R&D centre in Viana, Spain, supporting local innovation and product development for European markets.
“We attribute our long-term success not only to continuous innovation, but also to the trust and support of our partners” added Mr de la Viña. “Their expertise and commitment have been fundamental to helping us deliver reliable, high-performance solutions tailored to the needs of European customers.”
Over the past two decades, Trinasolar has supplied more than 71 GW of solar modules, 9 GW of mounting systems and 4 GWh of energy storage solutions across Europe.
These deployments have contributed to the expansion of clean energy generation across the continent, supporting Europe's broader objectives around decarbonisation, energy independence and long-term sustainability.
Alongside technological innovation, sustainability remains a core focus of the company. Trinasolar was the first photovoltaic manufacturer certified under the Solar Stewardship Initiative (SSI) ESG Standard and continues to advance responsible manufacturing and supply chain practices across its global operations.
As Europe enters a new phase of its energy transition, characterised by growing demand for storage, grid flexibility and integrated energy solutions, Trinasolar remains focused on supporting customers through innovation and long-term partnerships.
At Intersolar 2026, visitors to the Trinasolar booth 170 in Hall A1 will be able to explore the company's latest technology portfolio, including the Vertex S+ G3 and Vertex N G3 module series, the Vanguard 1P Terrain+ tracker solution, and the latest additions to the Trina Storage portfolio: Elementa 3 and Electra.
