Atersa and Q-Cells reach an agreement for the supply of 73 MW until 2009

Q-Cells and Atersa have announced important agreements for the supply of 73 MW in PV solar cells until the year 2009. Both Q-Cells and Atersa and the Elecnor group, Atersa's owner, are leading companies in the industry and they share strategic partnerships. For Atersa, the agreements make Q-Cells one of its strategic suppliers in terms of volume and quality. For Q-Cells, these contracts represent a solid position in Spain and a globalized expansion through the presence of the Elecnor group in more than 50 countries.

According to Atersa, “the credit of Q-Cells and Elecnor in the stockmarkets and the agreements reached allow companies to develop solid strategic plans in an industry with a future as promising as the solar energy's”.

Atersa, with almost 30 years of experience, develops, manufactures and sells all the components and equipment necessary for setting up any solar electric system. “The support given to Atersa by Elecnor is again shown by these agreements”, the company stated.

Q-Cells, based in Germany, is Europe's largest silicon cells manufacturer. Only five years after starting production, Q-Cells has become one of the world's top three largest manufacturers.
