The announcement means Ingeteam can participate in DEWA 'sDistributed Renewable Resources Generation Program.
The program is one of three under the “Smart Dubai Initiative,” which aims to transform Dubai into the "smartest" city in the world in three years.
THe program's list of eligible equipment provides an overview of the manufacturers and equipment that meet DEWA’s technical standards and can be installed for PV on-grid application.

The brand new INGECON® SUN PowerStation CON40 is a 40ft. containerised MV Plug & Play solution up to 3,500 kVA – 36 kV, specially designed for utility-scale PV plants under adverse environmental conditions.
The 40ft. container features IP65 protection degree and innovative air-conditioned cooling system, ensuring the best PV inverter operation (99.1% maximum efficiency). It is the only solution in the market that withstands extreme temperatures up to 60°C without power derating, the company said.
