PV Crystalox seals polysilicon supply deal for next 5 years
Crystalox Solar, a British solar wafer manufacturer, has secured a long term polysilicon supply deal that will run until 2014.
The company announced yesterday that it has reached agreement with one of its existing suppliers of polysilicon to maintain annual delivery volumes and extend contracted supply in the coming years. The contract is expected to amount a wafer production equivalent to 450 MW, according to the British company.
This is another big move in the solar wafer market, after the announcement of Canadian Solar and Evergreen Solar reported by RenewableEnergyMagazine in the last weeks.
