Solaria PowerXT solar panels now classified as PID resistant

Solar energy company Solaria have announced that their Solaria PowerXT solar panels have passed a Potential Induced Degradation (PID) test, exceeding the requirements of IEC Technical Specification 62804-1:2015, meaning that the panels are now classified as PID resistant.

Solaria’s core business is the development, manufacture and supply of high-performance, attractive solar panels for residential and commercial rooftops.  The company utilises a sleek, differentiated design it calls Pure Black, in order enhance their attractiveness when deployed on homes and businesses. The panels also have an efficiency level in excess of 20 percent in order to maximise power generation. They are designed and engineered in the US.
