Wynnertech secures order for 40 MW ALBA PV inverters from Talesun

The units are scheduled for delivery in early 2017. The gas cooled ALBA 4x, with a unit capacity of 2 MW, is Wynnertech’s new design of very high capacity inverters, forming a compact plug-and-play outdoors solution with no air filters and construction and control innovations for reduced O&M costs, much lower than other conventional gear.

The company has been supplying cost-efficient inverters for large production units since 2014. The inverters are provided in units of up to 3.2 MW per block, primarily for utility-scale projects, enabling a reduction of total plant construction costs of up to 10 percent. ALBA completes Wynnertech’s PV inverter range, together with the water cooled ZENIT, that has shown seamless operation even in the harsh conditions of the Gobi desert, in the Chinese northeastern provinces of Xinjiang and Gansu.

After the initial technology development and successful penetration of the Chinese market, Wynnertech is currently launching its next phase of international growth, and expects to make more positive announcements in the near future.

Wynnertech is a Spanish-Chinese manufacturer of proprietary technology power electronics equipment and components for power generation and storage, EV charging and grid support and testing. The company’s products incorporate European design and quality standards and benefit from competitive Chinese manufacturing, with the aim of developing the most advanced state of the art systems enabling the best price-performance ratio in the market.

Talesun is an internationally operating Tier 1 premium producer of solar modules and cells. The company's fully automated production plants reach a production capacity of more than 2 GW annually. Talesun has branches operating in China and internationally as EPC and turnkey solution provider and as project developer and operator of PV power plants.
