The event, to be held at the Palais du Pharo, in Marseilles, France, will be attended by an expected 800 participants with delegations confirmed from Japan, Norway, Netherlands, United Kingdom and the USA. An academic session has been added to the event on April 27 to be held at the campus of the Marseilles Ecole Centrale. FOWT aims to bring together the best international experts, researchers and industrial players in the sector.
FOWT 2018 will focus on the deployment of commercially focused floating wind farms. Access to FOWT’s Academic Session is included in the event registration, but places will be limited to 200 participants. The session will examine themes such as Environmental impact and Resource, Design Methodology and Rules.
