The company is a global leader in the medium wind sector with expertise spanning 20 years. We look forward to leveraging our combined strengths to fuel the growth of the single wind turbine sector in the province,” said Simple Power CEO, Paul Carson.

Paul Carson added: “The Vergnet GEV-MP is a class-leading wind turbine and what we consider to be the best in the business from a performance perspective. To date, Vergnet has successfully installed over 750 throughout the world in a diverse range of environments from Australia, France, Japan to Taiwan, Chile and Cuba.”

“The turbines are very modern with superior quality design and manufacture; the Vergnet GEV-MP also provides maximum regeneration capacity and is extremely reliable. The company’s highly advanced technological and engineering expertise is crucial to the rapid roll-out of our single wind turbine strategy this year and over the next 5 years.”

The company aims to develop approximately 200 single wind turbines in the region by 2016.
