The latest figure of 10.7 GW is comprised of 6.9 GW in solar assets and 3.8 GW of wind assets across ten countries in Europe, North America, and Latin America. The company has added 1.7 GW of capacity so far this year, including Vitol’s 244 MW wind farms in Pennsylvania and the signing of the 1 GW Riacho da Serra solar development project in Brazil.

Responding to industry trends and needs, the company recently secured significant repowering and hybrid contracts for close to 800 MW under management in North America and Europe. The 240 MW Big Sky repowering in Illinois, and 85 MW Pisco wind and solar project in Portugal, being examples within a growing pipeline of work intended to maximise customer value through project optimisation and innovation.

Additionally, 2022 has seen Exus accelerate exploration of battery storage and hydrogen opportunities, expanding technical capabilities and skills as the sector evolves.

Operating across the entire value chain and lifecycle of renewables projects, the business currently manages 6.4 GW of operational assets, with a further 4.3 GW in development and construction phases.

Over the past eight years, Exus’ portfolio has advanced from a base of 430 MW in 2015, located in Iberia, to 10.7 GW across five global regions, reflecting the exponential growth of the renewables sector.

As an independent investment and asset management firm, sourcing opportunities, acquiring assets, and undertaking full technical and commercial project management, Exus assists clients in navigating a complex industry in both mature and emerging markets.

“We are immensely proud to have exceeded 10 GW of assets under management across our global portfolio” said Carlos Tello, Co-Founder and COO, Exus Management Partners. “Without the phenomenal skills and tireless work of every colleague this would not be possible. The latest projects are a testament to that. We look forward to continuing our work with some of the industry’s most influential players, and celebrating the next 10GW, as we deliver first-rate support and strategic advice on the global path to a cleaner and more secure future.”
