According to the company, these developments illustrate its strategy to increase renewable energy in its energy mix in Europe to achieve its goal to increase renewable installed capacity of the Group of 50 percent by 2015 compared to 2009.
In Poland, the park Pagow will double the wind capacity of the Group, The company’s previous wind farms in the market are Jarogniew-Moltowo (20 MW) and Wartkowo (30 MW), both of which opened in 2011.
In Romania, the wind farm will Gemenele commissioned in 2012. It marks the Group's entry in the electricity production in Romania, and illustrates the Group's confidence in the Romanian potential in renewable energy.
