Exus has developed and operated over 7.5 GW of renewable energy assets worldwide and therefore brings considerable expertise to the five individual wind projects in the Portuguese portfolio. The sites were previously owned by EDP Renewables (EDPR) and come with an 18-year PPA attached. Two of the wind farms are already in operation, with the remaining three under construction.

“Renewable energy is a key part of our investment strategy” said Ramez Attieh, CIO at Onex Holding. “Ensuring our wind farms are performing optimally will be essential to our expansion within the sector. We’re looking forward to building on our relationship with Exus to help expand our global portfolio and fulfil our ESG commitments in the coming years.”
